Congratulations on stumbling upon my blog!
Hi, my name’s Lucy and I am a self confessed foodie. I eat, sleep and breathe food and I just cant get enough! I mean, who doesn’t appreciate a super spicy warm chai latte on a cold windy day, or a beautiful real fruit ice cream on an absolute scorching afternoon? Or we could go a bit classier and say who doesn’t love a salmon en croute of a Friday evening followed by a Poire belle Hélène and a tipple of Moet? Either way, food and drink is bloody delicious and it has this amazing ability to bring people together to share laughter, love and experiences.
Lets start at where it all began. I was born in England in the little town of Guisborough, North Yorkshire. I grew up in various different places around the U.K until I reached the ripe old age of 9 where my parents decided to relocate to the other side of the world and settle down in sunny Nelson, New Zealand.
Right now, I work at Aro Digital (an awesome digital marketing agency) as their social media lead – which basically means I’m the one behind some of the ads you see – the good ones, not the bad. Wellington is the place that really sparked my passion for food; it has an abundance of cafes, restaurants and food bloggers themselves. Whether you want a fancy night out with cocktails and tapas, or just a cosy bowl of cheesy bacon wedges – wellington has it all!
Even though I’m based in Wellington, I’m a keen traveller – so look out for reviews of food all over the globe, as nothing is holding me back from searching for the perfect pizza or the most mouthwatering moussaka!
